Politically correct and Halloween

Wed Oct 29, 2008, 3:45 PM
I am not this.

Ok, so in the past couple months I have become more and more aware of our current situation. The economy is almost worse than it was during the depression of the 30's, there is a rise in crime and unemployment throughout the country. And I cant fathom how a person has not at least heard about Gay Marriage and the battle over abortion. But. What annoys me more than almost everything else are the uninformed people. The people who cling to an opinion like its going to save their lively-hoods. They will glady argue with you on a superficial level, usually about that they are right and they are wrong. But they will almost never delve into any issue deeply.
To those people, though most of them are not on DA, leave me alone please, thaank you :)

No on the subject of halloween. I know its late but if ANYONE has a neat idea of something to draw for halloween, hit me up! I want to draw something for the season. I love it, its the only time of year you can dress like an idiot and no one will care otherwise. :D I plan to fully take advantage of this.

And good news for me. I get to see my babeh this weekend  hehe...I know no one cares, but I do.

So till next time Im bored at college, have a happy halloween!! AND VOTE OBAMA!!!!

You know my feelings...thus I will spare you an argument.

Though, I wish to say that the youth of this nation are being led blindly into a devastating reality, one in which for many won't be awakened to until after their chances to reconcile are up.

draw sophiedragon dressed up! yay! :D!

soooo... yeah. That is one thing I LOVE about living here... people (for the most part) are much more informed, and don't base their believes for what the nation should adhere to on a book that really should only be used for your personal life. (except Howard, but he's the exception, hahaa)

I'm just looking forward to seeing Obama in office. I'm mailing my ballot in tomorrow!

Stockman is letting us wear school- and performance-appropriate costumes on Friday, so maybe you could have fun with the idea of a costume adding to the effect of the Tell Tale Heart Show, or maybe a costume messing one of us up... lol

Woot! Im working the polls actually so that should be kinda fun. I feel so depressed living here where everyone either thinks Im a crazy socialist or gay... I just like rights lol.

I like that idea

I miss you!!

Hmn... I know where you stand and I would rather not argue with you because I respect you.

But as far as your second statement, are you saying that from a religious standpoint or from a political/choices made idea? If it is religious, then I cannot agree. But as for how the choices, economy and policies currently held by the members of our government, my family has seen much hardship on a daily basis. That is why I have taken it upon myself to learn and research all that I could to make a decision on who I could support.

I understand the hardship issue...however...

Remember what is stated in the Bible...the Anti-Christ will reveal itself to be a good thing...thus entrapping millions of people in hope.

I am not saying Obama is the Anti-Christ...but I have seen based on his voting record a trend that contradicts what he has been passing around as his values.

We will see if I am right or not....but as it stands now...I cannot trust him nor support him in this election.

I have serious doubts about McCain too though....since he is very much a liberal as well  oh and a backstabber too >.<
