Sorry for those of you who I kept a correspondence with... I havent really been paying too much time or attention to DA... I have alot of art I really do need to be posting,but between work and school I have very little time for almost anything like that. Though I am taking college life drawing which is actually really fun for me, and I think Im making some artistic progress. But anyways... Hello Deviantart... Im gonna try to be here more

My life is so chaotic right now. Two horrible jobs and full time school and my wonderful boyfriend. I have no time for anything but these rare late night rendevous with my computer. I draw still but it has been reduced to once in a very great while. This weekend I took off so I could be with my man in the most beautiful city I have ever been. It scares me to have to go back to the tiny conservative hell that I live in. But mostly only because I will be away from him.
Its going to sound lame, very lame, but Im going to umm "rant" a little.
I dont understand why the one thing that takes me away from my mundane and busy life has to be so far away from me. I dont understand why the one person who I honestly believe I can tell everything to lives where he does. I cope and manage when we are away, it just makes me wish even more that I could be with him all the time. I value every single second. Its stable he is there and I think he will be for a long time. I am happy and relieved to have him and its weird. Its the one that you always have had a little crush on, you know? But you dont really pursue it because you think you arent good enough. But I suppose I am because he picked me out of all the others he could have. I just miss him all the time hes away.
Im here now, I have peace of mind. Thank you so much.

... Whew... thats done. Now my next little rant. WHY THE HELL IS IT NOT COLD YET??? We are going to have 80 degree weather for thanksgiving.. How freaken horrible is that? I want my cold scarf weather.

Obama!!!
Whether you like it or not, he is our new president and I think that regardless of what you feel you should give him a chance. He wants to help fix our broken country and help restore the strong economy we once had. He is for the rights of the individual and hopefully we can see an end to this war!
Obama is not the anti christ sorry.
He wont die anytime soon.
And if we unite as a country we can see a good change for the future.
I am pleased for that. But its dissapointing to see so many people angry and upset about this election, I can understand if you did not like him, truly I can, because I felt the same way about McCain, but listen to this.

Yesterday morning I went with my Dad to the local hardware store and as we were shopping we heard the three old men who opened the store saying "America hired a Nigger a f**king nigger to run this country" and a few other nasty racist remarks. We left without shopping there. Racism should not have such a strong hold on our society. We as a nation should not have such hatreds still so strongly present. This saddened me.
And then the same day while at school, a group of individuals were shouting that "If you voted Obama your will end up in hell!" and "Your sins and love for gay rights will only get you a ticket to hell"
Whether or not you agree with any of this. Keep these opinions to yourself, that is shameful and disgusting. We dont need to keep arguing and pursuing hatred like this. If we do how are we ever going to get ahead as a country.
America is not what it ever used to be. And sadly I dont think it will see peace any time soon.


In other news... Yay for love. Because I have fallen into it.

Ok, so in the past couple months I have become more and more aware of our current situation. The economy is almost worse than it was during the depression of the 30's, there is a rise in crime and unemployment throughout the country. And I cant fathom how a person has not at least heard about Gay Marriage and the battle over abortion. But. What annoys me more than almost everything else are the uninformed people. The people who cling to an opinion like its going to save their lively-hoods. They will glady argue with you on a superficial level, usually about that they are right and they are wrong. But they will almost never delve into any issue deeply.
To those people, though most of them are not on DA, leave me alone please, thaank you

No on the subject of halloween. I know its late but if ANYONE has a neat idea of something to draw for halloween, hit me up! I want to draw something for the season. I love it, its the only time of year you can dress like an idiot and no one will care otherwise. I plan to fully take advantage of this.

And good news for me. I get to see my babeh this weekend hehe...I know no one cares, but I do.

Is one of the best things in existence. Seriously... And its so refreshing on a miserably hot day like today.

I apologize to my watchers and friends that I hvae not been updating artwork that much. Im waiting for something larger to come along, i have bee sketching ideas up the ying-yang, but none of those sketches actually merit being put on the internet. But I am finishing up a few things and the commissions I was asked. Im so sorry I have been slacking on you.

My subscription ended... Sadness, but with outrageously priced textbooks, car accidents and family trauma, reloading my DA subscription has been left to the wayside. If you feel generous enough to contribute anything leave me a note with a sketch request and I will draw something for you.

But there is always some kind of good news. I met a boy who is as weird as I am. He is a sweetheart, and an amazing musician. So anyway yeah, that is working out in a positive manner, and he has been in his own ways, encouraging me to draw more. I need a new sketchbook sometime soon.
